KINGSVILLE BOXING CLUB
"Producing Champions, in and out of the ring."
The Kingsville Boxing Club is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization.  The boxers participating
in the program travel nationwide competing in a variety of amateur competitions.  Our
mission is to help promote discipline as a method of achieving individual goals.  All
participants are encouraged to exercise daily as an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle.  
Outside of the gym, members have also engaged in volunteer activities for the betterment
of the community and are also encouraged to excel academically.  For more information

There are many individuals who have asked that their names not be mentioned, We would just like to say Thank You for all that you do.
Boxers from the Marine Military Academy trained and sparred with members of the Kingsville Boxing Club on the 6th of Feb 2010.  
The MMA Boxing Team is trained by SgtMaj (Ret) Fred A. Roberston.  In addition to having the Kingsville Boxers sparring, two
members of the active military (Navy Pilot Dan Trube & Marine pilot Zack Hartnette) were on hand to help in the sparring and to
speak to both groups about their futures and decision making.
BOXING CLUB NEWS  

Congratulations to Damien Gaytan and Christian Moreno for winning the gold medal during the Junior Olympic Tournament.  Also To Eleazar
Mendietta who earned the Silver Medal.

Community Service:  Members of the Kingsville Boxing Club will participate in a monthly project in support of Operation Keep Kingsville
Beautiful.  Members will volunteer once a month to take on a project in Kingsville to help beautify our city.

Because You Care Award.  The Kingsville Boxing Club was recognized by the Keep Kingsville Beautiful Committee with the Because you
Care award for the community service project.

SplashTown Trip

Several members of the club were
rewarded with a trip to Splash Town, in
San Antonio, Texas.  These members
all assisted and volunteered with
various events throughout the year.  
Oscar J. Cantu wins earned his 4th
Ring at the Texas State Golden Gloves
Tournament.  He now has 3 GOLD
Rings,and 1 Silver.

the standard.
